JMHECHS Camelot Camp Summer Bridge Program

The ECHS Camelot Camp is designed to introduce incoming 9th graders to the Associate Degree and the Core Complete pathways to the J.M. Hanks Early College High School. Students participate in a variety of college readiness activities, including a New Student Orientation by El Paso Community College. This program will help prepare students for their first year as an Early College High School student. Camelot Camp activities include: 

• Team Building

• College Success Workshops

• Goal-Setting and Strategic Thinking

• Test-Taking Strategies 

• New Student Orientation to EPCC

Our 2022 Camelot Camp was held from June 6th - 10th.  HHS Librarian Ms. Villalobos and Go-Center Specialist Ms. Aguirre collaborated to guide students through team building activities, goal-setting workshops, and TSI Preparation through our district-purchased software: Shmoop.  EPCC counselors were present to speak to students.
