All teachers are required to participate in district and professional development.

• July 25 - 29: YISD Professional Development

• July 28: YISD and EPCC Job Alike at EPCC

• August 16-18:  EPCC Dual Credit Faculty Inservice Trainings

• August 31:  YISD Professional Development

• October 31: YISD Professional Development

• February 22:  YISD Professional Development

Every Tuesday in the School Year our ECHS Teachers participate in J.M. Hanks HS Professional Development.  Topics have included:

• Formative Technology Software to create digital exams, quizzes, and interactive classroom activities

• YISD Academic Language Programs training on strategies to support Emerging Bilingual students

• Instructional Coaches Make-and-Take:  What to say instead of “I don’t know….”

• Talk, Read, Talk, Write and Accountable Talks, All new teachers are provided with a Mentor and attend monthly training at District Level

Every Semester IHE EPCC meets with campus staff providing dual credit and they discuss what the current changes are and what to expect for the upcoming semester.
