Acceptable Use Policy
YISD provides students with access to local area networks and a wide area network that includes access to the Internet. The District is providing access to the network for educational purposes only. Student use of the YISD wide area network, including Internet access, must conform to the District Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). The acceptable use of the YISD wide area network is explained in Policy CQ and regulation CQ-R. Students, staff and parents using the Network for Internet access will be required to sign an AUP.
Access to the District's electronic communications system, including the Internet, shall be made available to students, parents, volunteers, board members, and employees exclusively for instructional and administrative purposes and in accordance with administrative regulations.
