Principal Message - It is my honor to serve the Riverside Elementary community!  I have been serving the Riverside community for the past fifteen years, six as assistant principal and nine as principal.  My goal is to build a positive relationship with every Riverside Elementary family by making myself accessible, and being visible not only on campus, but out in the community.  I enjoy making home visits and learning how our school can better serve our students and their families.  I consider our partnership with the parents to be the most important element in the educational success of our students.  Our students deserve the best, and in my capacity, I will do everything in my power to ensure they receive nothing less.

Vision Statement -  Riverside Elementary will shape the future of all students by instilling ACCOUNTABILITY, PERSEVERANCE and independence in the way they live and learn in order to be SUCCESSFUL in their college and career paths.

Mission Statement - At Riverside Elementary, we will provide a positive and kind environment that will foster trustworthiness and build respectful relationships while providing academic differentiation with fidelity for all students that will allow them to become 21st century learners.

Extracurricular Programs - We also offer many extra-curricular activities and clubs for students. Learning at Riverside extends well beyond the regular classroom. Students at Riverside have the opportunity to participate in activities such as Band, Orchestra, ESports, Robotics, Cowboys News Team, and  Cheerleading.

Our new Riverside Elementary School has been inaugurated, uniting both Cedar Grove ES and Ascarate ES. A new beginning and a bright future for our Riverside Community! Now is the time to bring our facilities to the 21st century. These new modern features will complement the skills and talents of our students today. We are excited about our new learning community.
