Welcome to the School Counseling
Vision
Ramona STEM Academy counseling program supports the administrative team, teachers, faculty, and families in preparing all of our students to be successful citizens by providing them with problem solving skills to enrich their academic, career, and social-emotional development. I consistently implement skills in behavior and academic areas so that in five to fifteen years, our students will be positive influencers and innovators in their community, empowering them to reach their fullest potential.
Mission
Our school counseling program aligns to the Ramona STEM Academy and YISD mission statements by providing a comprehensive, developmental school counseling program that follows the ASCA National Model which will aid, guide, and be equally available to all students in acquiring academic, career, and personal/social competencies. As the counselor I advocate for the students, empowering them to become innovative, lifelong learners and critical thinkers, while helping them maximize their academic and social achievement, acknowledging every student’s needs and individuality.
