Mission

At Bel Air High School, our counseling program will equip all students to succeed and reach their highest potential by providing a comprehensive school counseling program that address the academic, career, social and emotional development of all students. Our counseling program will advocate for students, act as a leader and collaborator who will support all students to maximize their potential to gain academic preparedness in a changing world. The Bel Air High School Counseling Program delivers a comprehensive, data-informed program that supports all students, regardless of background or individual circumstance, to gain the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for academic success, career exploration and social/emotional development to become productive members of our 21st century society. With the collaborative efforts of school personnel, families, and community resources, our counseling program will provide every student the opportunity to become productive lifelong learners and problem solvers. The Bel Air High School counseling program believes that all students are capable of learning if they are supported and encouraged. Our counseling program will abide by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and the Texas Counseling Association (TCA), where the objective is to provide a safe, caring and supportive learning environment for all students.
