Five wrestlers from Bel Air and Eastwood high schools earned individual gold and silver medals and were honored for their achievements at Wednesday’s Board of Trustees meeting. Over the course of the two-day tournament, wrestlers battled through the opening rounds on Friday. Those who advanced returned on Saturday to compete in the semifinals and championship matches.

  • Paulina Butler (Eastwood High School), a senior, won gold in the 6A 145-pound weight class. She entered the championship tournament with a record of 35-4.
