Ysleta Independent School District (YISD) is thrilled to celebrate the talented students who excelled at the 2024 EPCC K-12 Art Exhibit, a regional art competition sponsored by El Paso Community College. With 1,000 entries received, YISD students stood out by winning several awards across all divisions.

Division I (K-2nd Grade): Gianna Rivera from Thomas Manor Elementary secured 3rd place with "Van Gogh's Sunflower," and Japheth Blanco earned an Honorable Mention for "Pumpkin Pie."

Division II (3rd-5th Grade): Amariz Gonzalez from North Loop Elementary claimed 1st place with "Discovering the Wall."

Division III (6th-8th Grade): Camilla Armendariz from Hanks Middle School won 1st place with "Love Engraved in Stone." Emilia Kavanaugh from Eastwood Middle took 2nd place with "View of the City," and Kassidy Vidaurre received an Honorable Mention for "Virgen de Guadalupe."

Division IV (9th-12th Grade): Anyelo Martinez from Bel Air High School earned 2nd place with "All Business." Honorable Mentions went to Kristan Diaz (Ysleta High), Maria Robles (Parkland High), and Kitzai Garcia (Bel Air High).

Additionally, the President's Award recognized Isabella Villarreal (Division III) for "Catching Dreams" and Charlize Santini (Division IV) for "Fierce."
