The Ysleta Independent School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Diana Mooy as the new Associate Superintendent of Technology Information Services, effective Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Mooy, a 17-year veteran in education, began her career as a fourth- and fifth-grade teacher in 2007 at Socorro ISD before being promoted to several positions over the years, including student activities director, intervention coach, and assistant principal.
She joined Ysleta ISD in 2020 as a coordinator in the Office of Student Services and was later promoted to director, working collaboratively with students, parents, and administrators to provide information and resolve concerns at the campus and district levels on a variety of issues.
Mooy holds a bachelor’s degree in Informational Technology and a master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction, both from the University of Phoenix.
