The Ysleta Independent School District has captured 17 prestigious national awards for its exemplary graphic design, videos, website, publications, marketing/recruitment, and other communications from the widely respected National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA).
The district’s Communications & Marketing Department was honored for its outstanding school communications work in 2023 and 2024 through NSPRA’s Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards, which were announced Friday.
There are three recognitions within this program – the highest is the Award of Excellence, followed by the Award of Merit, and Honorable Mention. This year, Ysleta ISD submitted 18 entries to the competition, securing an impressive array of honors: three Awards of Excellence, 11 Awards of Merit, and three Honorable Mentions.

Award winners will be featured at the 2024 NSPRA National Seminar in July in Seattle. Every year, NSPRA honors the best work in school communications among school districts, education service agencies, education agencies, and private businesses serving as partners through its National School Communication Awards program.
