Bel Air Center for Health Professions Nursing Science Pathway - Accelerated BSN (TTUHSC)
The Center for Health Professions at Bel Air HS offers several programs in the healthcare field to meet the diverse needs of our students. Through a partnership with El Paso Community College (EPCC) and Texas Tech University Health Science Center (TTUHSC) the district offers an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) pathway.
Students are able to learn and apply real-world knowledge and skills and participate in specific field-related practical experiences. Students have a distinct advantage as they work with industry partners and simultaneously have an opportunity to earn an Associate of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies degree at EPCC by the end of their senior year in high school, as well as complete the prerequisites to apply at TTUHSC School of Nursing.
Students may apply during their 8th grade year.
Fifty-five credits can be transferred directly to TTUHSC Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program to potentially earn a BSN degree within 16 months upon high school graduation.
Students may complete the Nursing Science Program of Study.
Students may earn a Public Service or STEM Endorsement.
