2022 Adopted New Single Member District Maps

Adoption of new Single Member District Boundaries

On September 14, 2022, the Ysleta ISD Board of Trustees approved and adopted new Single Member District (SMD) boundaries as a result of the 2020 Census. The map shown below shows the boundaries of the SMDs as adopted.

These boundaries are for the purpose of electing school board trustees and do not affect school attendance zone boundaries.

The new boundaries will apply to the election of trustees starting May 6, 2023. Candidates for election as trustee for a SMD will be required to reside in the SMD according to the new boundaries as of the filing of their application for a place on the ballot.

Detailed maps of the new SMD districts were posted in January 2023.
