Rebel Elite students at Riverside Middle School continue to demonstrate what it means to be leaders through service and a commitment to their community. When El Paso District 3 Representative Deanna Rocha reached out to ask for our support in hosting a community cleanup, our students answered the call without hesitation. Even during their fall school break, students arrived bright and early Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 7:30 a.m., ready to make a difference.

Throughout the morning, students pulled weeds at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, collected over 30 bags of trash near the ponding area by Riverside High School, and assisted community members by directing vehicles and helping unload waste into large dumpsters provided by the Environmental Services Department. Their efforts contributed to filling three large dumpsters, making a significant impact on the cleanliness and appearance of our community.

Our Rebel Elite students exemplify the values of leadership, responsibility, and service. Their willingness to give up part of their school break to serve others is a powerful reminder that even young people can make a meaningful difference. We are incredibly proud of our students for representing Riverside Middle School and demonstrating what it truly means to be a Rebel Elite leader.
